Got the insert out. Did the ram rod trick. Worked ok but ended up with the mushroom/crack at the end of the shaft. Fortunately I made the shafts plenty long, so I cut 1/2" off the end and got it set up right now. I will use this arrow for shooting at home only. At least I can still use it.
