best elite pro shop in michigan???

need help guys. i have called several shops on the elite dealer locator list. none have any 30-30.5" bows or mods to switch out for the GT 500. I WANT TO SHOOT ONE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!! i have shot a few gt500's but, all have been too short, and i cant get a true feel for them. i would just buy one but, i dont want to make a 5-600 mistake.

You need to go see Matt Brown at BEARFOOT archery near the Flint area. He is a super guy and a super bow tuner. He treats everyone like family and when you leave your bow is "right". He has a few on the rack right now or could have a new one in your hands in a week.

What are looking for? Are you looking to shoot one, or need mods for a current bow? If you really want something, Matt will order it. Hit me with a pm, might be able to meet you there. -John

i am trying to find a shop that has a bow set up to test shoot in 30-30.5" draw, 65 pound max limbs. i am guessing the first one i shoot that fits me will be bought but, i dont want to make a big dollar mistake and not like the bow. ski

Call jay's sporting goods in clare if that is in your travel range, they had a ton of Elites on the shelfs last time I was there. Franks great outdoors in linwood may have one also, talk with don beaver there, he knows his way around these bows pretty well I believe....

please dont stop with the suggestions, i really want to find one to shoot.

it seems the shops arn't stocking all the draw mods to fit everyone (or even most). really, if a shop had one bow and 8 different draw length mods, in theory they could sell that bow to 8 different people that walk through the door. if they only buy their bows direct from Elite in specific lengths, they can only sell that bow to a specific client. doesnt make sense on my end.
