Hi guys I have just bought a gt500 70# (and am getting 83 FPE)

what FPE can I expect from the 80# limbs and the 90# limbs

Dont know about the others mine is maxed out at 74lbs with a 29 inch draw i am getting 92lbs 287fps. Shooting 300 FMJs.

Thanx squire. you get 92fps, what is your draw length, mine is 30" and I am way short of 92 fpe, any ideas on how to improve that??? using your stats then: at 90# it should then give me about 116 -117 fpe.

Draw length is 29". Dont know what your shooting for arrows but you could go with a heavier arrow. The 300's i am shooting run about 505 grains.

thanx I shoot a 470 grain for target and a 570 grain for hunting. I think I will take it back to the shop as it is brand new. I really expected more from this bow, but it may just be slighty out of tune.

bro you should be getting way over 300 like around 328to to 330 for what your shooting there is something wrong with your specs

My specs are correct. Shot it through the Chrono and weighed the arrows. The 300 FMJ are running 505 grains. That is not going to shoot 328 to 330 at my current setting.
