I seen where people said bt is not a cure all but im here to say yes it is. After just one afternoon with it im already grouping once again. This is an awsome little release. Those who dont want to use bt may want to try one of these releases first. Just wow is all i can say. WOW!!!!!!!!!

I have heard alot about them but i have never tried a back tension release. Maybe this year its time, did it change your draw length or anchor point any. I currently shoot a wrist release but have considered the saturday night special also. By the way i have target panic and i know it.

No it did not change my anchor point and you can get a wrist strap with it that mike whalen sells and it did not mess with my draw length. It did however have me shooting in the same hole

The other funny thing is there are no moving parts. even the hook is stationary as it kind of rotates out of the way as your pulling rather than the hook releasing with pressure.

I bought a Carter Squeeze Me to play around with a resistance release. They do indeed work. I pull it out every now and then when my shooting starts getting sloppy to remind me what a good shot feels like. I set my RX1 trigger as heavy as it goes, and can go back to it seamlessly after using my squeeze me and set it off properly with bt.

What I love about the whalens is I can use it for hunting also. I can't predict the shot yet I can get it to go off quickly if need be.

I tried hunting with mine... Didn't work out so well since you can't force a shot with it if needed. I actually switch over to a thumb release to hunt with now.

Since i live in CO i think taking a elk with it will be no problem. I can see it being very difficult to use on white tails though. Oh i plan on using it on speed goats also as you got to take your time with them anyway
