Default GT 500 QAD Ultra Pro Rest Tuning ??

Bought a new GT 500 last week put a QAD Ultra Pro HD Rest on. Cant get the thing tuned. Shot it through paper and the knock is about a inch to the left. I have the rest completely maxed out to the left. Up and down perfect. I checked to see if there is any contact being made with the rest and fletching and everything looks good. Any recomendations?

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

you will have to use the spacer that is with the QAD kit....i had to on mine as well to get it even close....you also need to look at the launcher...everyone says use the TL1 launcher...mine was the opposite..i had to use the normal launcher

Yep, need to use the T1 launcher. I have had two QAD HD's and while they worked well, they never paper tuned for me or shot BH's with FP's at centershot. I got a Limbdriver last week and had no problem paper tuning and all my BH's shot with FP's at centershot. Also, the LD is much quieter. It doesn't have the containment that the QAD has, but it has enough I believe and so far good enough.

I love the concept of the Limbdriver just hate the containment of it...one reason i went to the QAD but i have had this one on 2 bows and have had no problem at all with tuneing or BH flying right on with FPs...had it on an Alien X..which i traded for the GT and it works perfect as well i put it on the paper rack the other day and it was a perfect bullethole

You DO NOT need to use the TL1 launcher arm. If you have the rest timed correctly so it comes up no more than the last inch of draw, and have the pull cord tied in lower that suggested, you will be fine. I had a QAD on my GT500 before switching to a G5 Expert Pro and had the pull cord tied in even with the bottom of the grip and I had no clearance issues shooting blazers with the STANDARD launcher arm. With QAD's it's all in the set up.

Left paper tear = need to move rest to the right.
