OK, I got my new Z and it is great...problem is I still have a good crop of arrows from my 82nd Airborne. They are Blackhawk Vapor 4000 Wood Grains. They weigh 460-462 grains each. I really like these arrows but the spead freak in my is scared of shooting them in my Z.
I am getting a slight tail left tear but I think that is my poor form from lack of winter shooting.
If I changed arrows I am thinking Carbon Express Mayhem or maybe Aramid 27" in 250 with 100 grain head...maybe 125
Does anyone see any problem shooting my heavy blackhawk arrows other than they make my Z kinda slow?? (I know it is not a speed bow!!!)
My set up:
2010 Z28 28" Draw 70#
28 inch arrow Blackhawk 4000 9.9grain per inch
125 grain head (extra 10 grain weight in insert)
2" Blazers with 3" wrap
QAD Ultrarest (soon to be G5 Pro)
Cant think of anything else that would be important to throw an opinion about whether I should go with a lighter arrow![]()
