to strip a set of dipped limbs and then have them powder coated or to just buy new ones? What is the best way to strip them and what will I find underneath, black with exposed laminations or something "raw" looking.

I might be wrong but to powder coat something it has to be metallic doesn't it, since the powder is electrostatically applied to the piece? I think you might find primer onder the camo dip. Why not just scuff it up and paint it or re-dip in carbon fiber.....
If I'm not mistaken, JKK stated that the black limbs were powdercoated. If somebody would buy my dipped limbs I would just buy new ones.

I hear tales of a guy that will refinish limbs for $55.00, or about half the cost of buying new...
