    Default arrow rest

Anyone have experience with the Bodoodle line of arrow rests?I'm waiting on delivery of a Zapper 300 that I bought for my wife's 40lb Edge and having looked closely at the Bodoodle web site I'd say thier Pro 500 rest? is very interesting as an alternate to a driven or cabled fall away.
    Synergy --- still shootin fine
    Omen pro -- wicked
    Axe6 -------- sweet shooter
    Moneymaker NI -- deadly accurate
Pearson Diamondback --- old school but ------

I used to shoot a Bodoodle rest don't remember what it was called had the two prongs. Dang good rest. I'll have to see if I still have it to find the name of it. It was top of the line Bodoodle at the time.

I also used to shoot a Bodoodle rest. I shot the Bodoodle prolite rest a bunch of years back. It was a good rest at the time and had no problems or complaints with it.

I'm temporarily usig a Bodoodle right now. The rest is ok, but we have come a long ways since the days of the Bodoodle, in my opinion.

For one, when the Bodoodle was in its hey day, we didn't have the high profile shorter vanes of today. I've found fletching clearance to be a little tricky. Doable but tricky.

Also, I had forgotten just how much the silencing materials wear on a standard rest, since I've been using a fall away almost exclusively for nearly 10yrs. In a day of shooting, I've already gone through the first couple pieces of silencing material I had installed.

If I were using it for strictly 3D, field or indoors, where I could use a little lower profile vane and shoot directly off the launchers without fear of noise on the draw, it might stay on my bow. But for todays hunting bows, there are better options, in my opinion...

I used to shoot Bodoodle rests, either the Bullet or Timberdoodle before I changed to QAD,s.

Here is a 40 yard group with Blazers and a helical fletch from my E Force, max spread under 2 1/2". A bit high and left, [I was setting up a sight aiming at the corner of the duct tape].

me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've
traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

    Doesn't everybody shoot cedar??????
I used to have a friend that shot cedar arrows out of an 85# Lynx. We reasoned that if they could take the pressure of a shot out of a recurve that throws all the force at the beginning of the shot then a gradual build up to the peak would be even less stress on the arrow so they should be Ok. Never had an arrow fail so I guess we were right or lucky?

Actually they are GT traditional shafts, I love the look but originally bought them because of the weight, 9.3 gpi. Got to have a legal hunting arrow right?

I use a Bodoodle pro 500. I use it with 4 mini blazers or 3 reg or mini's with no problems. The best part is no cables to worry about.
