    Default XLR for field

I just got my XLR set up for our local field league with new arrows and new scope. I'm fairly new to archery and have never shot a field round yet. However, I'm getting very excited!

5/6 Ain't bad for me! This was only 20 yds, setting up my sight. I can't wait to shoot longer!!!!!

I love my XLR. I picked it up this winter and shot it indoors w/ 2712's and 300gr pts. I switched to ACC 3-39's for outdoors and went up to 8X in my scope. I like both changes so far.

Nice one, I've been using my XLR for ~ 3 weeks now and so far I think its great, what weight are you pulling and what arrows did you build.

Default Follow up 50 yd grouping

Well, I'm still loving this XLR!!!! I have been working hard for about 1.5 years now when I have time, but I wish I had more time to dedicate to archery. Here's my best grouping of 6 arrows at 50 yd. so far. This is about a 2.5" group.

This gives me hope that I can eventually become a credible shooter.

    1. This is 2 full turns backed out with 62# limbs. I guess about 55-57 but I have not measured.
    2. These are ACC 3-39's, 28", 70 gr nibs, unibushings and G-nocks, 2" plastifletch max low profile shield cut vanes with as much RH helical as my Bitz would allow.

Many thanks go to Dale at Lancaster Archery for spending about 1.5 hours with me figuring out what would be the best arrows for me. He also spent about 2 hours with me setting up my B-stingers. As he says "My equipment far exceeds my abilities." Any problems shooting are on me and not my kit.

Nice groups. I don't shoot much field here in WI, more 3D. But I would bet that XLR is going to make a real shooter for field.
