2010 left hand gt500

finally after an 8 week wait i received my lefty gt500 30.5 inch draw 70#
at edition.the bow is beautiful.....
but,it seems to very loud and has a very noticeable amount of vibration.
so much so this weekend the screws in my cbe sight came loose.then today the top draw stop fell off the bow.after about an hour looking in the grass i found it.at brace the timing seems to be off. at full draw ,with my daughter looking at the timing dots,they are off about one full dot.do any of you elite gt guys think a tune will fix my problems? the bow only has about 125 to 150 shots on it.to be honest i can group arrows with this beauty better than any bow ive ever shot.i cant wait to see it when it is dialed in. im am gonna be patient and take it back to my dealer and let him tune it.im just a little bummed about shelling out the money and having problems already.oh also the bottom limb bolt is going into the riser slightly crooked .it doesnt seem to be making full contact all the way around the washer on top of the limb. any suggestions?

I would say something is up with the timing. I have a 2010 GT500 and I have to say it is the quiestest Elite I have ever owned and I have owned 15 other Elite's to compare it to. I'm not sure which dot your draw length should tune at but mine at 29" is between the 8th & 9th dot. Maybe the 11th or 12th dot?? There are certainly others who know the Rev cams better than I that can chime in and steer you in the right direction.

The vibration and noise is caused by the cam sync being off. I've never had the problems you are running into w/ my GT.
If you don't have a draw board and press , get it back to your dealer and have him get it tuned. If for some reason your dealer isn't familiar with the procedure , call Denny or Jim at Elite for help.
If you are close to one of the dealers who frequent this site, get it to one of them. There are top notch guys on this site.

thanks.i plan on getting the bow back to my dealer early this week.if he cant help me for some reason,i am willing to send it to one of you guys on this forum who know elite bows inside and out.i really do love how the bow looks and feels.im just hoping all she needs is some tweaking to get her back on track

My GT is set at the 14th dot 30"DL 61lbs. Definitely sounds like the CAMS are not in sync.


However TBP us lefties look at that as the 4th dot! Or at least this one anyway! Gotta love being left handed I look at almost everything backwards from you "normal" guys.

dealer should have checked it out before it left the shop! IMO
