    Default Super Tuning

I dont know a whole lot when it comes to tuning bows, so I was just wondering what all you do to a bow when you super tune it?? I usually just shoot it the way it is given to me after the shop paper tunes it and sets it up for me. Is there anything I can do to the bow or should I leave it up to someone else who knows what they are doing? Can anyone give me any help?
Don't have to wait anymore. It has arrived........

In my estimation you need a press and a draw board to accomplish this feat. I don't have either so I send mine out. I know how the specs are to look after tuning but I have yet to understand all the twisting/untwisting required to get it just right.

You also need a digital scale and chrono. Otherwise, how would you measure your results?

Dave, are you still refusing to work on this stuff for people? You're a couple
steps away from an abduction and a forced labor situation.

You know if I had this whole "teach a man to fish" attitude of yours I'd be out of a job pretty quick.

Ha Ha! I suppose if I ran a bow shop for a living and took that attitude, it might not be good. I don't run a bow shop though, so from my perspective it's good. Although I'm sure Mike Carter would probably love to go on every hunting trip with each of you, it's not quite practical for him to do that. With that thought in mind, working on your own equipment is both interesting and fullfulling. To take a good bow and turn it into a great bow all by yourself is a great feeling. To help others who come here to my place and have them watch me and explain everything I do and why is also very fullfilling. The only thing worthwhile any of us will leave behind in this world, is the influence we have had on others. It behooves us to help one another when we can. Or put another way, we should seek to spread light in a darkened world.
