    Default Custom Elite Stabilizer review

Elite fans, just thought I would post a quick review on the Stokerized/Elite stabilizer. Please remember this is my hunting rig, if I do any 3-D shooting it is to stay in shape and tune up for the upcoming hunting season.

Before using this stabilizer my Judge was equipped with a 12" 11oz B-Stinger. The B-Stinger did an excellent job, just wanted to try something different.

Stabilizer arrived with Quick Disconnect and before placing it on the bow I could tell I wouldn't like the weight of it. Placed a phone call to Stokerized and ordered an additional weight and bowjax end cap.Now with the QD, extra weight and new end cap I am around 13 total inches.

I haven't been able to shoot past 20yrs (indoor range) but the bow is holding like dream. Very little movement and of course groups are super tight. The bow was quite before but again between both weight and bowjax the bow is almost silent

Now for the downside. Since this my hunting rig I believe the improvments that the new stabilizer has made do not equal the amount of money I spent compared to the B-Stinger. Besides the cost of the stabilizer the additional weight and end cap cost me another $40+ w pushing the total cost well past 140.00 compared to a new B-Stinger of $90.00

Like I said before I wanted to try something different and new of the costs upfront, just trying to give everyone an honest review.

Our stabilizers are designed more toward hunting. Kyle, from Stokerized, makes some great target stabilizers with lots of choices. Thanks for your review. It is accurate.

Im excited for my stoker, I have a Bstinger as well, and am a hunter, the B stinger is making most of the noise on my bow and like hearing(no pun intnded) that its made your bow quieter.

Pete, the thanks go out to you and your team at Elite for the 2010 lineup and awesome accessories. I did some shooting tonight and another awesome night at the range. I will be shooting again Thursday and keeping score to see what my hunting rig can do

Sounds like a very logical review to me. I viewed the Elite stab I shot more as a hunting stab as well.

You mind posting pics just to see the modifications you did???

great review and pretty accurate. i feel the stokers are great for hunting.i actually like the lighter weight on my bow. i have a 6" with an added weight and the bowjax end cap. this balances my 32" hunting rig perfectly and soaks up most of the noise and vibration, as for 3d and target, check out the new nucleus stabs they just came out with.going to put one on my 3d bow. looks very radical.
