The Sportsmens Expo made its way into Phoenix this weekend and along with it came the crew from Humphries 3D. Brian Cook and family have come up with a truly innovative 3D competition. They have set up a Pop Up 3D course along with a running deer that is a timed event. This event is extremely fun and unique. I encourage anyone who gets the opportunity to shoot the event to try it out. If you want to check it out for yourself her is their Blog Spot and you can view video of the shoot on Youtube.
So along with the 5th Annual Cactus Classic, Nicole and I both shot in this tournament. So our day started at 5am and we drove to Mesa to shoot our first tournament. We finished there and then drove an hour to the Expo where we shot the Humphries 3D Pop Up Tournament. So after two days of doing this we were pretty exhausted. After it was all said and done Nicole managed to secure 3rd and I managed two secure 2nd. So after a rough showing at the Cactus Classic I salvaged my weekend with a 2nd place showing a the Humphries 3D Pop Up along with a $300.00 check. Nicole managed to have two great showings in one weekend. She is really coming on strong.
I hope you all enjoy the photos and if you get a chance go shoot the Humphries 3D.
I'm sure you guys had a blast. We had one in Cedar City a couple weeks ago. That shoot can be addicting. Can't wait for next years shoots might travel a bit and shoot the one's he does through the west.
