    Default Scopes

What scopes besides classic have the lens in front of pin. Seems like most of the ones I see the lens is behind the pin.

Need a scope that fits a 1.7 lens with a down pin and lens in front, but don't want classic.

You can set up an Apex by C/R either way you can see them in Lancasters Catalog.

Nice, guess I hadn't heard of the Apex by CR. Actually don't know why I didn't think of Lancaster they have an option to sort by manufacturer under the scope section.

One more question, is Classic the only scope maker with a fiber guard?

    Richard-

The CR scope is a pretty good scope from what I have seen. Dont know much about them. For some reason was thinking DB used on some.

I've used the CR apex target scope for a couple years and I've been very happy and impressed with it. The 3-D is just a larger version of it.

I think Classic is the only one with the fiber guard.

The CR looks like a quality scope and the target model should fit the spare 6x lens I have.

My only concern is the fiber set up, it would be fine out in the sun but inside it might not be bright enough without a light. I know I could use any light but does anyone know how easy/possible it would be to set up an LP light.

For spots I use a dot on my lens as it is easier to see indoors than fiber optics. Always found the fiber optics were better outside.

Outside is where I would mostly be using it. I've never shot a dot inside, might be a good idea to try because some indoor facilities have poor lighting and I have to use my LP light just to see my pin.
