    Default Bow Press suggestion?

I'm looking to get a press for my Envy. What do you look for in a press, particularly for bows with parallel limbs?

Right now I don't see the need to use it much, so I was thinking of purchasing a portable bow press like a bowmaster. Any recommendations on the best portabel press?

But I'll expand it and welcome bench top press discussion, because that will probably be next years purchase...

Bowmaster works, takes alot of cranking, get a box wrench for it. I keep mine in the truck and use a Ultra(gritty on AT)press at home, its very similar in action to a xpress.

    Default press

I had the ultrapress it was an ok press nothing bad to say about it except it seemed to take a little more to adjust it from one bow to the next.I sold it and bought the EZ-Press from Last Chance Archery and this thing is the cats meow!Very easy to use and very gentle on the bow.Plus doesn't take much to adjust it from bow to bow.The down side it cost me 5 bills even with my dealer discount!

The X-Press seems to be an excellent press for parallel limb bows. I don't have one but both of the shops that I go to have one.

The EZ-press is definately not cheap, thats for sure. I saw one while researching. Nice edsign though, seems to make sense to me. I do worry a little about cam access due to the fingers at the limb tips though...

The Last chance press is the absolute best on the market today!,, I have used it and it worked flawless,,, simple in design,, LIghtweight, and comes in either electric or manual screw drive,,I have a Toadpress at my house, but I'd trade it in a minute for a Last Chance bowpress,,, Doesn't mark the bow all up and it actually just compresses the limb tips. Very sweet tool,,,

    Default cam access

That is maybe the only down side to the EZpress is the amount of room to access the cams.

I own a x-press and love it. One of the best pieces of archery equipment I have ever purchased.

I have an E.L.P. bowpress made by LA Archery. It has a vertical draw board built into it. It will work on any compound bow including an X-Force and will also work on x-bows. I have the floor stand model which allows you to examine a bow from all directions when you are learning about a new bow. There isn't any press out there I would trade my press for.
