    Default First tagged fish

Just thought I'd share this with the EAF. One of my favorite things is fishing for walleye here on Saginaw Bay, especially ice fishing! Tonight I got something I have never gotten before. A tagged fish. I can't wait to get the info on when where the fish was tagged and what it's weight and length were at the time.

Thanks, it's a little rough on the rear shocks, but I hate towing stuff out there.

Congrats on the fish. I can see why your tuff on the rear shocks, what were you towing w/? I use a Jet -Sled Xl with cover and tow bar and very happy w/ it. In the fall deer will fit in it if I'm lucky and the XL will float 250# across open water (don't ask).

Yeah the shanty on the back really wears on the shocks, they are about ready to be replaced now after 5 winters or so of running like that. I could tow it, but where I do most all my fishing is 8-10+ miles(mostly rough miles) out on the bay, and I just prefer to have everything secured up on the machine. I wrecked my last shanty towing it over some shoves, ripped a giant hole right into the tub, that ended my days of towing things out there. Those jet sleds are awesome. I have a few friends who use them and still prefer towing, and they do work very well for deer.

Great catch! I too caught one tagged like that here in MI about 4 years back. Mine was on the west side of the state right out of a port leading into Lake Michigan! I really like that 4 wheeler you have all set up, slick deal for sure!!
