    Default Synergy xt or xl

I am currently shooting a e-500 72 lbs at 28inches and am looking at the new elites. I am a little nervous dropping down in brace hieght to 7"(should I be) so I am kinda leaning towards the xl. I don't target shoot so this will be a hunting bow, and the bigger brace I thinks helps when I am hunting whitetails in november up here in manitoba(clothing clearance)

Will the synergy xl be as fast as the e-500?

    Thanks for any input........Jason

Going off the IBO. rate and specs of the bow I dont think it will be as fast as the e-500.
should be a good shooter no doubt. But im afraid it wont be as fast.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.

I can't imagine you would have a problem with clothing. Check out my post on STS, I'm telling you guys this really works.

I would say it will be around 10-20fps slower than your e-500, but it is going to be a sweet shooter. This bow is not built for speed, it is built to be a shooter. It is still very fast though, for the 8 inches of brace.

I think the trade off in speed for brace height and smooth shooting would be worth it! If its a target bow...More forgiving.
If its a hunting bow, add string clearance from clothing to that forgiving quality. You can't go wrong with the XL (IMO)
