On the SBH energy how did the DL run? Long, short or right on. Considering your answers Which mod would I need to acheive 28". also what kind of speed could I excpect from that length (IBO) Thanks for your help

Those ran about 1/2" long. the mods you need for that DL are S8. Mine with S9 mods shot 297fps grained out.

I have #5 500 mods on mine and they run 3/16" long on the draw for 29 3/16" If I recall correctly I was getting 294-296fps with a 405gr arrow at 29/70.
A #7 500 mod is for 28" but I would imagine it will run a little long like mine do. Remember the SBH Energy's draw started at 31" so every mod is different than a bow that starts at 30" like the E-500. A #6 mod is normally 27" but on a SBH it is 28". I've never tried an EZ or S mod on these bows, only 500 mods. IBO for your draw I'm thinking around 300-303fps with 500 mods.

I have 27.5" speed mods for the SBH Energy I believe. They are green. I can check to make sure I have them if you'd like.

I think I got 27.5", 28, and both 28.5" module sets with my SBH Energy.

Thanks, There is one for sale on AT that has a #5 ez as I see it that should be 29? How difficult is it to come by mods?

Yep its a #7 and not a #6....I'm getting old!!!! LOLOL Both of mine only run 3/16" long which is very manageable. Funny thing is these same mods on an E-500 run an inch long...go figure. If I had a set of #7 500 mods I would send them to Cowboy to try. I wish I had another set of 06 updated cams. Smoother draw than the originals (IMO) and same speed.

The mods are around. I have alot of #3-5 mods but nothing that would fit you bro or I would help you out. I think Elite still has a few. Maybe nobby16. I think he is or used to be a dealer.

I did not get the EZ 27.5" mods, the seller kept them.

Green colored speed mods were the originals. Kevin colored them so there wasn't any confusion. EZ-black, S-green, 500-silver they didn't keep up with the color though. Eventually the EZ and Speed were all black but the 500 stayed silver.
