    Default Lefthand Judge Status

Since tomorrow is the last business day of the month I thought I would check on the progress of lefthand Judges being produced/shipped. Are there any hardcore dates/times for this to happen? Any help/info would be appreciated, starting to get frustrated over this

Well I hope this is what happens. My bow was ordered late nov. and archer58 ordered his in oct. This process started off as 3-4 weeks then mid jan. after holidays now end of feb. I realize I sound crabby and I am to some degree, but why on earth is it taking this long to make lefthanded bows? Elite is an established company with a fair amount of dealers(increasing daily) under their wing, producing lefties shouldn't pose to difficult for them. The thing that really gets under my skin is when I'm being told that an elite competitor who is new this year in the business has lefthand bows sitting in stock and can ship to a dealer within a couple weeks. This is a company that is trying to establish a dealer network and build a customer base, which elite already has, however they made the effort to include the lefties. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, and if elite ran into equipment malfunctions or something of that nature i can understand, however I get the impression that they have been satisfying the righthanders while neglecting the lefties, hope I'm wrong but it does make you wonder how a brand new bow company can do it and an established one cannot.

I'm not sure which new company you are talking about, but I have a hunch, and I have had an order in with them since Aug. for a right handed bow. They are doing their best I'm sure, as is Elite, but not everyone is being taken care of so quickly. Also if we are talking about the same company, they had a pretty good head start on risers while they re-worked everything else, which explains a little bit of why they are putting out lefties.

Fact of the matter is that Elite is still a small company and they have to weigh their options with production as they cannot make everything at once, the only real choice they have is to make the bows that will please the majority first. I know it sucks but that is the way it is for now. Hench there is a wait for lefties as well as some DL's(mine included). It appears that the wait is about over for us longer draws and they are starting to ship, so I bet the lefties are soon to follow.

I'm not trying to say you shouldn't be frustrated, far from it, just that we all must understand how it is with smaller companies, which I don't think Elite will be for much longer if they keep bringing bows out like they have thus far.

Also if you ordered a 1/2" draw length, they were slow getting them out. First mods built were 27, 28, 29" etc.

Good point, they did have to rework their cams so that could have gave them time to do risers. My draw is 28.5 which could be a part of it I guess. I just want to get my bow so I can start tuning and adjusting for turkey season. I'll keep waiting and see what happens and thanks for the info, however I will say that I do think elite can do a better balancing act between the two hands.

I get that and fully empathize!! I also hope that Elite can improve on pumping out bows that fit everyone as they move ahead. I's sure it will be less and less an issue on down the line as they grow.

Hang in there fellow Lefties! I ordered mine in March of 09 and I got it in July. It is well worth the wait!
