Default My Elite GTO is Loud.

G'day! its starting to get to me that my bow is producing
a fair bit of noise when i shoot it..it is allot louder then my
old bow (Mathews Outback) and i have heard that the GTO
is a quiet bow...Any suggestions on making it quieter?

I have used cat whiskers but they don't do much difference...

Make sure your STS isnt to close or to far from your string...you want it to where you can slide a credit card between the string and STS

Make sure your bows cams are in synch and use a set of Sims Limsavers on your limbs for better limb surpression...I use a set of the Sims Quad #3451's and a set of # 3410 Insulator strips under the limb pockets cut to size to also add to the vibration of the limbs,,,, Works great and doesn't cost a ton.... check out this website for Sims gear....http://www.limbsaver.com/2010/produc...grip/index.php

Also make sure everything is tight; mod screws, cable rod screw, string stops screws, limb pocket adjustment screws...
