That is a great idea. I was hunting an E-Clip that bounce off the wall just the other day. How many gallon bag do I need to get a GTO in.

Maybe a 30gal trash bag would work. LOL

That is why I have extra clips. I spent a lot of time on my knees looking for one in my shop ONCE.

Always take a peek in the outhouse hole before sitting down. Over the years I have only found two things that didn't belong a opossum and a 4' rattler. I was a youngster when I found the opossum and I had already made him pretty mad. I heard the growling coming out up out of the hole from between my legs. I made a run for the truck fetching the shotgun when my dad caught me by the back of the collar as I entered the outhouse. Stopping me from making a mess out of the opossum and myself.

If your at a ASA shoot and you and friend go out to eat and you enter the place you choose, you then see things like canned peas and old thick white dishes and coffee cups. Then you see everyone is 50 plus and 50 lbs over weight just get up and walk out. Trust me your friend will thank you later for saving the day.

Yep good advice, gotta have a good meal before any ASA event. Sorry I didn't make it this weekend, too stinking cold.

When shooting steep down angle shots pick a tree along side your target and look at the tree straight on judge your yardage to the tree and shoot your bow for that distance. What seems to be a forty yard shot could be more like a twenty.

Practice at the longest distances you can before hunting season begins. Shooting at 60 to 70 yards during the off season will make that 25 yard shot at your buck a slam dunk.
A good rule of thumb is to double your normal hunting distance.

Practice from an elevated stand at least 2 or 3 times before the season WITH your hunting set up.

Keep a spare sight that's been pre set for yardage in your vehicle. If you break a pin or fiber on your primary bow sight, you can slap the spare sight on and not loose any hunting time sighting in. It doesn't have to be the same sight or even a top quility one. Just a cheapy spare w/ good fiber optics.

To set a pin sight, there is ONE RULE only:

Follow the arrow!!

If your arrow is hitting high, pin upwards - follow the arrow!
If your arrow is hitting low, pin downwards - follow the arrow!
If your arrow is hitting left, pin to the left - follow the arrow!
If your arrow is hitting right and low - pin right and low!

Follow the arrow!!
