Thanks for the clarification. 7'3" makes more sense. I have killed a few over 6' but when my son showed me that link I was scratching my head but it looked legit. Camera angles do wonders.

I have seen them this big in the appalachian mountains in west virginia...They are all over in mid summer sun bathing back on the tops of the mountains on the cliffs...Not many this big but I have seen a few this big before but kept on going...Not tryin to mess with a snake that venomous and big unless I got a gun.....

They caught/killed her about 15 minutes from where I live. She was piled up in some landscaping shrubs in an apartment complex! We do have some big ones down here. I got popped twice in the back of the boot by a small one during the early bow season. That'll put a damper on your day!
We don't worry much about the rattlers here, they are fairly docile....it's those friggin moccasins that we hate. They will bite you just for spite!
