    Default Interesting thought

Is it possible to put Cuda cams on the Aigil SS to get the draw down to 25.5 or 26"? I know that a different combo of limbs and string/cable lengths would have to be figured out. I had somebody very interested in the Aigil SS but wanted to get it for their son and get the DL down there. What all would it entail to achieve this (if possible)?

Will the limb deflections need to change to get the same poundage? I need to know what all I'm in for. I haven't heard of anybody putting Cuda cams on a "Z" before

thats an interesting question.looking at the XLR and XLR w/cuda cams the only thing that changes is the A-A (shortens 1/2")
    other than the draw length

    so you go by the Aigil spec 32 3/4 A-A and cut it by 1/2" -A-A =32 1/4 and a 7 1/2BH
close to what a Z with cuda cams would end up??
if you look at the string cable specs you could (assume) start with taking 5 3/16 off the Aigil spec length for the string and 1 3/16 off the spec cable lengths for a start point.
those numbers are the same difference between a Rev cam and a cuda cam on the XLR

but now thinking about it, the Aigil cam has a different amount of string and cable take up than a rev cam so maybe it won't translate correctly.

I understood what you were referring to. I was over analyzing again I'm sure. Ratios should be very close to the same. I was just worried about limb deflection over the change of cams and string/cables. I certainly haven't a clue whether or not anyone has tried this yet

The limb deflection will still be the same unless you change the ATA, putting more load (shortening) will increase the draw weight. As long as the ATA remains the same then the deflection will still give you the same poundage.
