I have a Big Dog fixed position stand with shooting rail I bought because it was on sale. I put some extra padding around it out of waterline insulation, & I also made a footrest for it. I can sit in it for 8 to 10 hours with no problem. It's more comfortable than any high dollar stand I've ever used.

I have a similar answer, I picked up 2 remington ultra-mag ladder stands at a "box" store a couple years back because they had them on clearance for $100 each. They are far from portable, but I have never sat in a more comfortable stand. All day is nothing, I could spend the night too, lol. I thought they were awful at first, then I found the proper adjustment of the seat straps for me and fell in love. My summit climber is also a very comfy stand. All my others pretty well suck after a couple hours.

Every time I sit in my Summit Viper X5 on an afternoon hunt, it's lights out for awhile. That is the most comfortable stand I've ever owned. There are likely more comfy stands, but I've never tried anything like the Summit and I am a consumate fidget-er!

I also have the Summit Viper but undoubtedly the most comfortable ALL DAY climber stand is the JRH Sports Gunslinger. It's 28 lbs but very mobile. I've shot from them for years and I am a bowhunter only so don't let the name fool you. It's only draw back (not for me b/c I like to use the tree to conceal me) is that it faces the tree. Jim also makes one called the ComBow that faces away from the tree but it is not quite as comfortable!! I've killed a ton of deer and hogs from the Gunslinger!!

viper SS for me. Its tough to stay awake in that baby. With foot rest its an all day stand for sure. Not as comfy as the lonewolf for going in, in my opinion but once there, its awesome. The more comfy back pack straps are a must i think, and that foot rest.

I'd go with an Ol Man climber. It's lite aluminum and the hammock net seat is really comfortable. I have sat in this stand all day it's a good one.
