Default Oh, the weekend that was...

this past weekend was one of the best weekends in a while, friday afternooon ol' envy #227 showed up in fargo by way of PA. saturday brought more joy as my new SS stab showed up in the mailbox. Havent had a chance to shoot the envy yet but tonight is the night. I will be shooting it for a few hours after i get a peep and loop installed. For those of you who have never seen an envy, this thing is a thing of beauty, and the pics do not do it justice. After my deer season is over i will be breaking it down and having the riser powdercoated, i also hope to add a hydroshock string stopper in the near future. well here she is, My new-to-me 2007 elite envy #227 @60#...

You will get many answers on this question but I believe that less than 350 were actually made because I've never seen a number higher than 317. It really is a very limited edition when there were supposed to be a 1000 made.

My guess is just short of 400. I have seen a couple in the high 300's, but none close to 400 or over.

Great Bow. Keep it, there are not many 60lbers around. Hope you like it.

Not doubting your word but I would like to see a pic of that serial number. 512 is way higher than I have ever seen or heard about.

I might be wrong about the number, BUT we still have that e-mail letter stating only 1000 were being sold! Alot of Envy owners don't get on forums, my friend didn't even know Elite had one! But I'll check I might have to eat crow, never know!!

Yeah, the 1000 was a pipe dream. Turns out that not many people were ready to plunk down close to $1000 for a bow. I know a lot of people paid less, but some paid close to $1000. I used to watch carefully the serial numbers and kept track. Highest I have seen was 350-370. If your buddy has 512, than there are a whole lot that must have sat on the dealer shelf for a couple years. Heck there might still be some on the dealers wall for all I know.
