    Default E-500 Frankenbow???

Well after 2 years of tears for selling my ol E-500, I bought another one tonight!
I am kicking around the idea of a Franken set-up. Any of the mad scientists playing around with them have some input on whether I should persue it or leave it be. I am looking at a Synergy to Frankenize if need be, but the E-500 might get a make over if I am steered in that direction.
    Thanks
If I leave it be I will be in need of a set of speed mods at 28.5" I remember the 06 ran long I used to have (I shoot 29" on my Aigil and Z28) but shot the E-500 @ 28.5"

Rick Maybee put Rev cams on an E-500 and said he lost 10fps. That's a no win situation for that bow. Better off using original K8's it sounds like.

I have rev cams on my E500, it's not that you lose speed but rather poundage. Mine maxes out at 58.2 lbs but the draw to me is easier than the original K8 cam (then it could be the fact that it's less weight). It's my hunting bow now and going to the woods in a few, speed is quite good. I believe (it's early) that I'm getting 260 with a 434 grain arrow.

I have the draw weight! Its just slower then the K8 cams with the original harness.
the rev cams with a different string cable length will work but with the same weight and dead on DL. it is slower.
Im working on Envy cams on it right now. waiting for mods any day now!

    thanks guys
I will keep it the way it was built then. I knew it had been done, but missed the outcome. The draw is fine on the K8 cam for me, but wanted to see if there were any advantages to switching them.

A little clarification, I could get the weight but then it increased the brace therefore not gaining any speed. So mine was most efficient at 58.2 lbs that's why I left if there. You will basically come out with a GT500 if you try it, specs are real close to it anyway.
