I too will agree that the Tight Spot is the lightest most compact quiver that holds 5 arrows snug and quiet as can be. As close i have have found to the best hunting quiver made. Very adjustable as well.

    Default Quiver

I'll second the recommendations on a Tightspot quiver. I looked and tried a lot of quivers before trying a Tightspot. Can't say enough good about it, nothing else on the market provides the adjustability and lightweight they do. I'm very impressed.

They are less than an Octane and about a third the weight.

i used a vortxx quiver for the past two years. this year I bought a tree-limb premium series quiver for my new Z28. Well I've switched back to my vortxx. liked it much better than the treelimb, even though the treelimb cost twice as much. IMO vortxx is the best quiver on the market. It holds the arrows much more securely than the treelimb, and fits in my bowcase easier than the treelimb. I bought my treelimb because it was black/carbon fiber and matched well looks wise with my ninja Z28. but i ended up just spray painting my vortxx flat black and put it back on.

On a side note, Im gonna be selling my treelimb quiver if someones interested. lol

I've been using a Vortxx the past two years also and I really like them. Have them on both my bows. Thing I like most about them is the low side profile which is great for reducing any wind effects when you're shooting and in my opinion it also gives the bow a much cleaner look. Plus the price is very nice, one of the best quiver values out there IMO.

Look at Champion2's ND buck pics, he has a black Vortxx on his bow: http://www.elitearchery.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=20235.

You can see the camo version on mine here: http://www.elitearchery.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=9285

They come in 4, 5 or 6 arrow versions. The 6 arrow rotates for removing arrows. I have the 5 arrow model.

In my opinion there really is no "best" quiver for a bow. Just like there is no "best" bow, rest, or peep sight.
    It is all personal prefrence.
Some people like a single piece quiver that mounts to the sight. Like the treelimb for example.
Some people like a single piece quiver that mounts to the top of the riser.
Like the Mathews T series quiver for an example.
Some people use a hip or back quiver.
I myself like a 2 piece that mounts to the riser. I like my arrows as close to the riser and as far forward on my bow as possible.
It just seems (to me) to balance the weight between the top of the bow and bottom of the bow a bit better.
I would suggest you borrow some quivers from friends, mount them on your bow load and try them. You will soon find a quiver that you like.
Again, this is just my opinion..

I've really been wanting to buy the treelimb. I have a softlock 5 arrow now- it's nice, but I only need a 3 arrow (save weight) and the treelimb has the nice loop to hang it once in your stand/blind.

that tight spot is pretty cool- but that's some jack for a quiver.
