    Default z28 & GT limbs

    Just thinking out loud
    I Have a .5 gt500 70lbs 29 inch..for hunting and 3d
Thinking of getting a a z28 for hunting and making the gt500 3d only..

    I want a 50-60 lb 3d rig and 60-70 hunting rig.. If I get 50-60 lb Z28 can I swap limbs?

Deflections are different. 60lb Z has 135 deflection limbs. Gt 60lb is 123. Z limbs would make your GT more of a 50 lb max. And the GT 70lb limbs would make your Z 80lbs.

Guess I'll have to study up on deflections

So if I bought a 60-70 Z And swapped em I'd be in the ballpark?

They would make your GT max around 65-66lbs. If you want to check out the deflections for Elites bows go to the website and click on technologies and then tune charts. Everything you want to know about your bows will be there.
