    Default Tree step question...

Hey, can anyone tell me the name of the tree step that has a lag bolt screwed in the tree, then has an L shaped step that slides over the bolt???

They are real similar to these, but instead of the bolt being attached to the step, you screw it in first, then slide the step over the bolt.

Boog, looked at them again, probably not real safe for my size of feller. I'll just stick to stick ladders.

I am feeding something corn, not sure it PY yet!

I know several guys who have had them break. I like the ones that screw in. Once you got holes started its pretty easy each time

DB, don't know of anyone personally, but lets face it, 3/16" thick aluminum is no match to my figure. Have a dozen or so, maybe more, screw ins I will be putting to good use.

I hunt in the burbs & would have 2 out of 10 stands stolen. Per Year. They may not be the biggest step, but by leaving the top 1 or 2 w/ only the bolt sticking out , it has helped a lot.
