    Default Broadhead test video

Someone put this link on another forum. Kind of interesting, not sure how much it applies to hunting situations, but it speaks to the durability of the heads for sure. The Slick Trick and the Striker both perform very well, IMO. They actually look like they would still be pretty much useable, with new blades and a little touch up on the tip.

    Default Thanks for sharing that!

Slick Tricks made a good hole and peneatrated with four blades still in tack.

This is how we tested many years ago.

Pretty sound test if you ask me.

Would thing the solid piece Montecs would have done well as well.

Looked like the 3 biggest entry holes were from the wackem, the grim reapers, and the slick tricks.

Looks like the slick tricks performed the best though. Great test. Need to show this to those who shoot expandables.

I don't know how many people have told me that they have lost deer on spitfires, but they still shoot them. Doesn't make any sense.

No one else realized how the striker didnt look that damaged after the barrel and how far it penetrated? Seen these heads do awsome jobs on bone.

I was paying particular attention to the slick tricks and the strikers, I shoot slick tircks now at 100 gr. Need to get some 125's and I was thinking hard about trying the strikers. This video cemented it, the strikers did great and held up wonderfully.

Up until last year I used mostly the 100gr Slick Trick with no issues to speak of. Last year while hunting in Washington State I took this doe with a 100gr Striker. The shot was about 30 yards or so, slight quartering to me. You can see the entry wound. The arrow blew right through the shoulder with a complete pass through. What you cant see is the front leg is hanging on by a thread. The bone was completely severed. The Striker had no damage other then the blades were a little dull. Very much expected on a shot like this. The Slick Trick is a fine broadhead but now my fixed blade head of choice is the Striker.

That was pretty cool. Some of the broadheads that failed also failed the Peterson's test last year. I am a huge Striker fan, including the Magnum.

How do those magnums fly? Any problems with tuning?

I would like to see Wasp in that test.
The Strikers have my attention now.
