    Default Great blood trails

    Awesome size holes for sure.

100grn standards work for me best.

I prefer my slickies. They are tough as ****. I shot them into a concrete wall and just blew of the dust and carried on shooting. Ibought 12 packs this season. Seems like im sorted for life.

I haven't lost a deer yet shooting ST mags. In fact , none have gone out of sight before expiring.

Default As I scratch my head...

Bad blood trails?!! Put it this way, I have not had rifle shots start a blood trial as quick as my ST did. Then again, I have only shot 1 doe with them, but it was a perfect Dbl. Lung shot and I could see blood from 30' in a tree with my binos. Blood was within a few inches of my arrow stuck in the ground after pass thru. WOW, I was impressed to say the least. I will continue to shoot them and see no need to look any further. Always shot Mzys and refuse to shoot expandables. Got to keep some type of tradition going! lol

I still use the standard 100gr Tricks, but it's the best fixed-blade head I've used, including Muzzy. Shot a smallish doe at close range from a 16ft ladder stand last year (almost vertical quartering away shot), the Trick completely severed 5 ribs on the way thru the near side of the heart. Gushed blood from the entry wound immediately, very impressive blood trail for the 35 yards to the very dead animal. I'll try the Magnums after this season.

    Cool

I use 100gr. standards & Grizz 100gr. I killed 2 doe with the Grizz & all I can say is GRRRRR!!!!GRRRRRR!!! The Grizz one bad head & all the ST fly with my FP & no deer has even moved at the shot so I don't think the hiss matters. I think a bow being shot is louder than an arrow in the air.

    Default mags

It's called the hiss of death. that deer will never hear it coming...if they do it's too late.

I killed three doe with Trick standards. the 3 combined didn't make it 100 yards together. they blood trails where not good, but when you see them fall, who needs a blood trail?

I'm sure the trail would have been there if they ran 50+ yards. I shot several deer with a Rage two blade and didn't find blood for 30-40 yards.

they are solid, all steel and they fly like darts. what else do you need in a BH?

Trying the Grizz tricks this year.

I've been using the Slick Trick heads for a few years now and love them. I've taken more than 20 deer and a bear with them. Great blood trails and i've had no failures. You can't go wrong with these heads.
