BT helps alot of archers....I started out target shooting with guns from the age of 4 and archery at 8. My Paps always told me DONT PULL THE TRIGGER, SQUEEZE SLOWLY!!!! I was so engrained in my mind with SQUEEZE SLOWLY, when I went to my Grip style caliper that has an index finger trigger, it was automatic for me. I cant shoot a BT or thumb worth a crap. Most would look at me crosseyed if they saw me shoot a pistol.

I grew up a shotgun shooter and you are supposed to slap the trigger. Big difference with rifle and pistol shooting. Very hard for me to squeeeeeeze it off slowly.

Rattler, I shot long range rifle, but still shoot BT.

Recordkeeper is right about Bernie. He has some wonderful ideas on teaching , but you have to get past the Ego.

Bt takes time, because you will have to make sure each part of your form is right in order to do it correctly. Most shoot to long of DL to have it work correctly. If you are stretched there is no place left to move to activate the BT.

I'm kinda new to the back tension and its hard for me to constantly do it or consistantly. The thing I have problems with is holding the bow weight with my back muscles, its hard to grasp and do it consistantly. The way I do it now is kinda a half a$$ version that Im sure ISNT good but I kinda imagine my release hand sliding through my wrist strap if you can imagine or picture that.???????????????????????????????????
