Thanks for the support Dan, I did shoot well and judging pretty well right now, hopefully will be able to keep it together for the next few months. I did find out I won the Pro class atthe qualifer shoot so this helps with the confidence. I am making it my goal to make the ASA Classic shootoff; place first and putting Elite on the National tournament stage

Nice pics DB. The shot at the deer over water looks like a toughie... I've always had a tough time estimating over water. I take it that one black bear must have been relatively close with everyone chasing the 14?

Last target. Lots of folks chasing the leader there. 14 ring get a lot of shots at the end of the course and usually sinks them deeper down. LOL

This shot was no gimme. Your standing six foot lower than the ground in front of you. Hard to judge ground you cant see. Pure sight judging on 33yrd javelina. My 32 yrds didnt get. Notice Elisha can barely see over the tp of the ground and she pretty tall. Little short guy like you might need a stool. LOL

Ya, you take the ground from me and I'm always going to have a tough go of it. I'm often frustrated when I go to a course where there are shots that the short folks just can't see. My wife is only 5'4" and there have been shots where she flat out couldn't see the target.

If there's a course marshal around I normally just have them over and they agree and set a separate shot for the shorties (I'm not normally in that boat, but I have been to shoots where the short folks would literally have to be aiming at a large rock and just count on the arc of the trajectory making it so that you clear into the 12.

A shot at the Canadian 3D championships from... 15 years ago? Was exactly like that. There were four shorty open shooters (including myself) that were shooting together and I went last. All 3 ahead of me were just above the 10, basically just at the point you could see from the stake. I went ahead and shot at the rock just praying that the arrow would lob in. I got it
