    Default Shop owners ?

I am a new archery shop owner, and I have had a few customer ask me if I was going to have pro staff memebers. Sounds like a good idea (fre advertising, kinda).

    My question is.

If you have pro staff memebers what do you offer them?

    What do you do?

A shooter staff can help, but you have to determine what they can do to help your business. A top shooter is not always the best guy to have. Typically you would get them a bow at your cost, and sell the accessories at 10% over your cost. Maybe do labor at no charge. If the shooter does bring in a lot of business, that you retain, don't forget that, and make sure you take good care of that guy.

But seriously guys,, If i were having to take out the trash, wash the dog, clean the truck, sweep the floors ect ect ect,, I would expect more then just a 10% over cost bow and cost on accessories,, I'd want a free bow and pay minimal for all my stuff I'd buy,,, I mean,, your basically a Pro shooter aren't ya when you get to that far in the archery world ? Isn't that what they call the boys on ArcheryTalk, Prostaff Martin Shooters? Just another fancy word for Brown Noser or Baby rump Kissers,,,LOL

Murph... are you still currently located in NRH ?? I need to came over for a visit. Would like to chat with you.

Roughly, where are you at? I'm wanting to purchase a Synergy X AT, after the first of the year, when I have the budget situated.

P.S. - Do you have any shooting lanes there?

Sometimes Pro Staffers actually help out some in the shop. If you're lucky enough to get some good ones they may do some bow tuning for you.
