Default Limb deflection numbers and date under the limb?

I was taking apart my brothers GTO and noticed that under the limb pocket the limb was labeled with the deflection number and the date it was tested. Do all elite limbs have this? It was news to me, I guess I was just surprised to see it under there. Does this mean that its a matched set as both limbs have the same number? Just wondering, if some else who has had their limbs off could let me know if they have the same thing that would be great.

Yes they all have it, I was under the impression that the date was the date the limbs were made.

I remember someone asking Barnsdale this and they said that the number below was not a date but an internal number for tracking.

I'm looking at a set right now and they have 135 and 6 3 08 stamped on them. They are off an 08 bow which led me to believe the numbers were a date.

I always thought the bottom number was the date of mfr. Could this be what you saw Beetle? Pay particular attention to post #2...

Talk about conservative ibo ratings. If they said our bows did three shots through the chrono: 6, 3, and 08 fps I bet a lot fewer people would complain about not hiting 340, lol. Or wait, maybe it was one shot 6308 fps....my bow is sloooowwwwww, dang you Elite
