Default Z28 and Boss Hogg Sight

I'm interested in the boss hogg sight with a 3 pin head for hunting but the quivers on the market positions the arrows right over the dial. The 2 piece Octane quiver works since you can angle the pieces and expose the dial but still would like other options. I want to use the sight and quiver on the Z28. Can anyone recommend another quiver that is adjustable and can off set the arrows on the riser? Thanks in advance.

From what I can gather from Spot Hogg. That is why they made the Tommy Hogg. They were concerned about quiver placement. I asked them point blank and they said that there were not sure yet. I also plan on running on of the new Mafia Series on a Z-28 but at this point there are too many unknowns...

Thanks J for your post............I looked at the Tommy Hogg but didn't feel comfortable dealing with the dial on the other side of the quiver (furthest from me). I decided to buy the Boss Hogg and Octane's two piece quiver. I angled the quiver enough forward and I have zero obstruction when using the dial. I have attached a 3 pin sight and dialed it in at 30, 40 and 50 yards, I use the last pin to read the tape which can soot out to 120 yards. Our pro shop has a 100 yard range and it's blast to shoot on.

What's the Mafia series, who's the manufacturer?

I called the new Spot Hoggs the Mafia Series... but that is just me...

I pretty much do the same thing you do... I figure I had guess the hold over or under from 20-40 yards but anything further than that I need to use a rangefinder and dial in....

I tried both methods of pin set up, I think it works better to set the top pin dead center(the eyes naturally center everything up and at long ranges this becomes critical, tougher to hold bottom pin on a 100yrd target) of pin gard with 2nd and 3rd below for 30 and 40, then set sight tape to the top/center pin, give the ability to set sight at...say...34yrds. I actually carry mine when hunting set at 30 with it sighted in as a 40 and 50 below for times when I dont have time to adjust.
Never had a problem with my adjust wheel infront of the quiver either as well.
    Just thought id share.

Thanks L Train............I have the sur-loc set using the top pin and find the bottom pins blurring the target at 100 yards. For me, using the bottom pin opens the sight of view much better since I need all the help I can get! I'm left eye dominate but shoot right handed.
