Default How does this speed sound?

I finally got my new NVG E-Force together and specked out correctly so I could shoot it. This is one 2006 model that I don't know that much about so any of you who do know, help me out. I have #3 speed mods on the bow for a 29" draw but it specs out to 29 3/8" It is set at 70lbs with a 7 3/4" brace. I am shooting ACC's 3-60/340's that weigh 412 grains. The bow is very smooth and quiet on the shot. 4th shot produced a bullet hole through paper. Shot three arrows through the Pro Chrono and got three "duplicates" 289fps. I was very pleased with this speed especially for a bow with a 7 3/4" brace. Is this speed slow, right on or fast???

    thanks

Sounds like I'm in the ballpark wouldn't you say Corey. This is a sweet little shooter for sure. Probably the bow that was the inspiration for the Z28. Special thanks to Scablands for trading it to Lonehara so he could trade it to me. LOL

I can't belive the E-Force is never talked about on here; WHAT A BOW. Mine is smokin fast, sweet to draw, accurate, and EXTREMELY quiet. Here is my speed out of it at Scheels through their chrono:

    E-Force 366 gr arrow
    64# 29" 290 fps

Yes this is a pretty fast bow for having such a generous brace height. I have read all the arguments about Pro Chrony speed variances. The one at the shop is 3fps faster than wassaw's. If you buy into the theory that Pro Chrony's run 7fps slow then I could be shooting around 295fps. I know for sure that my arrows were smoking down the range. Whether my speed is actually 289 or 295fps, the bow is a keeper and quite the shooter for such a short ATA bow.

Mine is shooting 291-292 fps with a 364.5 grain arrow @ a 28.5" measured draw, bow set @ 64#'s. with the #5 EZ mods through my chrono.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not
me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've
traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
