    Default Augusta ASA Pro Am

I might as well get this one started...Who is going to Augusta?

I will be there shooting Semi Pro. My wife will take her Cuda along and shoot in Women's Hunter.

It was actually hot, guys. 90 Friday through today. I just got back. I was so disappointed. My buddy and I only saw 2 Elite bows there all weekend, and we were there 4 days. Those 2 Elites were mine and his. We try so hard to promote these things, but there were only a very few around, and we don't know where they were. Elite has to do more work in marketing. Noone even knows who they are at these shoots consisting of 1100-1200 people.

Attendance was up by 100 shooters this year. And other than hot, the weather was perfect. Calm and not a cloud. I managed to shoot 3 fives and still got it in 1 down for the weekend and finished 8th in Senior Open. I tied for second in the Sims, but got beat on X count by a guy I shot it with. My buddy had his best ever shoot in Open A with his new GT500 and got 6th in the Sims.

Companies like Alpine are doing an awesome job of marketing, and those bows were all over the place. So why can't Elite ?

The Womens Pro shootdown and the Senior Pro shoot down were beyond description. And, of course, Levi made it look easy as always.

    See you in Kentucky.

Dang, we shot on the same course and I didn't see you. I shoot unlimited, blew the first day but shot better the second day, ended up 5th. I also had two five's which killed my chances of a win, first day was a tough course I thought. Nice crater huh? I too only saw one other Elite the whole weekend.

There were quite a few Elite there in Augusta. Three from my state. Pro classes to amatuers. I do agree Elite should join the other manfacvtuers that have shown success with supporting tournament archers who win and represent Elite. Other have shown it works.
