Looks a little long to me. Nock should be under the eye, to me it looks behind the eye. You also look to be leaning back some. JMO

+1. Looks to be an inch or more long. Your bow arms also looks a little to straight. But some people like it that way.

I am shooting in the 260's for 3-d right now. I am looking for any ways to improve. Any shorter than 29" feels like i'm cramped, but thats all i have shot. I am 6'1" and my wingspan does calculate to be 28". I wonder if shortening an inch would help increase accuracy at this point?

I would say you appear to be long on the DL. You need to stand straight not leaning back. Your bow elbow should be more vertical, to keep you fom hitting your arm & allow your bow hand be at a 45 to the bow. How are you shooting. When you miss you miss mostly left I bet.

Try putting 60% of your weight on your front foot, keeps you from leaning back.

I am struggling to estimate yardage, but my misses are sporatic, sometimes left, sometimes right. Mostly I am bad up and down on the target.

I am averaging 260 on the 30 target 3-d shoots. when you say to keep my bow hand more at a 45 to the bow, do you mean i should be gripping the bow more in the crotch of my index and thumb?

The bow should rest to the right of your life line on the muscle next to your thumb. I only put my index finger in front of the bow & curl the other 3 next to the riser in a relaxed position.

I got you now. I'm gonna take the xlr up to the shop this week and try 28" cudas and see if that will improve my form. I dont like the cramped feeling, but it may be a necessary evil to get where I want to be shooting.

    thanks for your help guys!
