Thread: limbdriver on gt 500?

    Default limbdriver on gt 500?

I just got new strings for my gt 500 and spent some time setting it up. I read the thread about having arrow thru berger hole and perpendicular to string. Does anyone else have their limbdriver "bottomed out" way below the shelf to get arrow thru middle of berger hole at full draw. Just wondering.

You might want to rethink putting that limb driver on a GT500.

Here is what I mean. I had to drop the fork way below the shelf to get the arrow thru the middle of berger holes. It looks funny but it shoots bullets and is at 7/8 CS. I used to have the limbdriver fork even with the shelf at brace but the arrow was at the top of the berger holes. I read kevin's suggestion of having arrow thru middle for optimum performance. Does anyone else have a limbdriver set up like this?

looks ok to me... you can change the amount of rotation as well as the up down to get it right... looks like my gt500.. i put some camo skin on the forks and under them

If I move the rest up, so the fork is in line with the shelf at brace, the arrow is at the top of the berger hole at full draw.

I take it you are only using the large allen screws to accomplish the vertical adjustment. You can also adjust vertical height with the launcher blade itself. The is a very small allen screw on the right side of the rest. It's located under the rest on the right side. If you loosen this you can move the blade itself. My advice is move the rest a little vertically, then lower the launcher blade with the small screw to keep the arrow in the center of the berger hole. This would allow you to accomplish what you are looking for.
