Fire speeds

I chrono'd my Fire tonight and would like a touch off feedback. 26", 51 lb., 296 gr. Easton Lightspeed, got 265 fps. That sounds about ball park, right?

ya u could lighten your arrows to 250gr. and get it faster but thats right for your draw and weight of arrow. you are 46grs over ibo i think 5 grns per ponds and gain 8 to 9 fps.

If you took the 46 grains off your arrow you would gain 15-18 fps.

Yep, that's what I figured too. The highest speed on the chrono was 272 but most were in the mid 260's. It shoots great. Super bow! And, it's red and beautiful! I'm going to have to take pixs one of these days and post them.

I got very fast speeds with my fire at 28" and 60 LBS. This thing is crazy fast!

Let's just say I'm "skeptical" unless you are shotting those high Country Speed Pro arrows, you can make a Mathews shoot 400with them
