So the official word from Elite is now April???No exact timeframe???
Hope that is when they mean that they will be in our hands not when they will start to ship.

But again that could mean May ,June,July
I want one,GT 500 AT LH 60#,just don't want to have to wait until I can pay for it with my Social Security check!!:censored2:

Still on the MID April timeframe, I heard the molds for the risers are in process now.

I am hearing this morning that now the expected delivery date will be MAY !!!????

Once again it seems 5 to 6 months waiting like the last 2 times I ordered one and no LH Elite bow.

I know,I know, change of ownership, moving, new tooling for LH risers but the date for delivery has changed from February to mid March, to late April and today its early May!
Guess I won't be shooting an Elite on my hunt in May after all.

Just curious, are these cast or machined risers? I just assumed machined but if waiting on molds I guess not. And why are they waiting on molds? Or are we not talking about the GT500? Because LH GT500's obviously exist.
2009 Hoyt Alpha Max 35.....yes I'm a traitor and got rid of the GT500.

The Z28 is what they are talking about. The GT500 you can get already in left hand. and yes they are machined risers.

When we owned Elite we machined the LH bows from big blocks of aluminum. This was not only very costly in extra material but also in machine time. Elite outdoors is having a forging made which will speed up LH production.

It will be better. RH bows have always been made this way. A forged riser is the best.
