    Default Block 4x4 target

I set up one of these targets in my back yard and shot 3 arrows into it with my new GT500 ninja. I'm shooting a 70 lb bow with 28" arrows. I shot the target at about 18 yards. I got about 11-12" of penetration. The problem I'm having is I can't pull the arrows back out. I checked thier web site and it showed some guy pulling an arrow out with 2 fingers. I had the thing on the floor standing on top of it trying to pull the arrow out. I was afraid I was going to hurt myself. Is there a trick and don't say grab and pull because that didn't work. Please help.

I hate mine for that reason. It doesn't get any better either.

Use some sort of arrow lube. Had the same problem as you. Once it gets broke in they get better.

Sorry to hear about that, spending all that money and then encounter something like that sucks.

    Added thought

Cut an approx 5" piece of bicycle tube, wrap around shaft, then pull. Won't slip and an easy way to better grip the shaft.

x2........ The Rinehart 18-1 Block is a fantastic target. Easy arrow removal and it holds (almost) forever !!!

I have a 4x4 that's about 4 years old and love it, arrows pull easy, I wonder if there using a different type of foam now.

Get you a bar of Ivory soap and rub it on the shaft of the arrow. It will help a lot plus the more you shoot the target the better it will get. When it warms up it will also help.
