I shoot with contacts all the time. However, when I forget and use glasses, my poi changes slightly. Contacts work just fine.
Contacts work great for me.
I shoot w/ them. Only problem I have is they tend to dry out halfway thru a 5 spot round. I carry eyedrops for that.

I hunt with contacts but when I shoot target or competition I use glasses. I have found my contacts tend to blurr out the targets after a short while and get to where I cannot see well. Even with rewetting them I have too many problems and agrivations that I just put on the glasses.
I used to shoot with the contacts. I have a bad astigmatism and as soon as the contacts turn, EVERYTHING is out of focus. I talked to my optician and survey says that most people see better with glasses. I just don't like the way that my glasses fog up in cold weather. Try them, you might like them.
