    Default 452 X difference

The new 452 X material I recieved seems to have a different diameter as compared to the old 452 X ( the old stuff has a normal X the new stuff has an italic style X) Anyone know how many strands is optimal for the new stuff. If not that is fine, just thought if someone else already knew I could save myself time and materials.

To keep within Elite's warranty guidelines 24 strands for their bows. I build 20 strands for the rest of the other manufacturers.

    Robert,
Do you see any performance gains by going with 20 strands? Any noise issues?

I build them 24 strands for all Elites. But on my Hoyts & Mathews I see no difference other than about 8 fps and less vibration due to less string weight. Bowtechs get about 12 fps.

    Default Strings

I have seen around the same numbers on our customers bows with a 22 strand string and cables. We build everything standard 22 strands with the 452x.Unless it's an Elite than 24 strands unless the customer specifies otherwise.

Andy if you want less strands just let me know when you place your order.
