    Default LimbDriver for hunting

I just saw a post over at AT about a guy thinking of switching from a Muzzy ZeroEffect to a Limbdriver. There are a lot of folks telling him not to switch for hunting. That a capture rest is much more important. What do you'all think?

it's all relative.. depends on what kind of hunting you do. you can make an arrow holder out of a piece of aluminum arrow that works well..

It doesn't help with let-down, but I thought about using one of these...

That should let you stalk and not worry about the arrow banging around...

not to Hi-jack but what about the cord getting caught on stuff does it ever become a problem I hunt hard spot and stalk and the rest intrigues me but I need tough simple and hassle free equipment where I hunt.

it definitely fits the bill of simple(easiest dropaway i've ever set up), and no cable to tie into the cable. if for some odd reason you do pull it out of the limb attachment, all you need to fix it is an allen wrench, unlike one you tie into you down cable. i haven't had any trouble.. and south texas has nothing but thorns and stuff that'll reach out and grab you. the cord isn't going to break. if you break it on something you're gonna be worried more about the cut in your buss or control cable not some string attached to your rest. give it a try, you'll be surprised.

i have never had a problem with the cord comming down from the limb. i also thought it would get caught on something and ripp off, hasn't happened. the limb driver is the best drop away that i have used so far
