Default Z28, blazers and a biscuit?

After reading a few other posts, I am still confused...will a Z28 work with a whisker biscuit and blazer vanes? really would rather have the whisker biscuit than a drop away just bc of the ease of it in a hunting situation...what i am reading is that some work ok, and some dont...i dont understand why it would work some of the time and not work other times...so if anyone is shooting or has shot this setup, i would love to hear from you...thanks

With the regular whisker biscuit you can turn your vanes where they need to be for vane clearance.

With other rest like the Hostage you cannot place your vanes in any position. and that is where the problems come in.

    Arky hit it right on.

I use predators instead of blazers but you can rotate them to cock vane out to get plenty of cable clearance.

I use the Whisker Biscuit with Blazers and Predator vanes. I'm only using the Predator vanes now since they are a little stiffer and lower in profile. I am really digging the WB after shooting QADs and Limb Drivers for the last couple of years. I threw the WB on the Z28 and saw no difference in accuracy plus I loved it setting in the treestand this year. Good luck.
