I have the same exact problem with my 2012 Pure. It is 3/4" long on draw. I speced the string and cables and still had the same issue.
I just got a new set of cables and string and was careful...
X2...........
I'll be hunting out of a Primos Vision. It's worked great for me the last few years.
Nice bird! What kind of bow holder is that? I need something for the blind and I like the looks of that.
Very nice bird!
Looks like Lancaster has it for $68. I think I got a better price than that, but don't remember where I bought it from.
I am also using the pro chrono and am very happy with it. I also bought the lighting kit.
Awesome! Looks like he almost lost his head :D
Based on the calculator that's posted, I am very close to IBO if the string leaches are 20 grains each.
Gold tip series 22 pro cut to 29" with an 85 grain screw in point.
I'm also limited as a long draw guy. I'd say the Pure :D
I was getting 329/330 fps (pro chrono) out of mine with a loaded (including leaches) string @ 72lbs with a 360 grain arrow. My actual measured DL is 32.25" though. I have the #1 mods. I never ran...
I'm using one on my Pure and I'm running it off the bottom limb. It's working great for me!
I'm a big fan of mine.
I'm surprised that shortened the draw 1/4 inch. If i evenly twist string and cables, the draw is unchanged. Glad you got it worked out!
Very cool video! Looks like we have some turkey killers.
My Pure is .75" long. I should have a new set of string/cables soon and I'm hoping that fixes the problem. I spent hours trying to correct it. Everything is in spec, but I'm still long on draw....
Any name suggestions?
The one in his sig is a 2010.
I got the Saga 110LB hanging luggage scale. It has worked really well and was $9.90 shipped from eBay.
PM sent...
Congrats to all of you! That's awesome. Good luck at state!
It looks like you are on team #3 :D. It's nice to get a little participation in the thread though...
Team #5 back to the top.
