I've shot a lot of years & the only thing that has ever come lose to hitting me in the eye is those stupid rubber tubes for peep sights. Haven't used one of them in years.

I find if my bow arm elbow is more vertical, helps keep the shoulder down. your elbow is near horizontal. Other than the shoulder & leaning back, your form is ok.
I saw some 220's on AT today. they may work &were snow camo.
Most weights are either 1/4-20 or 5/16-24 thread. As long as you have the proper thread any weight should work.
With my 24" stab I notice what you are saying, but my bare shafts , fp's & BH's hit together. I generally don't worry how the paper looks if the bow can bare shaft tune & BH tune.
To try different set ups, Nuts & Bolts on AT says to buy large fender washers. Put them on the stabilizer & back bar. Try different combos till you like the feel. then weigh & purchase the weights....
I know what you mean. Had my shoulder rebuilt & crushed my leg. it took lots of time & hard work to get back.
Be patient, with your weight lifting back ground, you know what it takes to get back in shape. Just listen to the docs. Hope your shooting soon.
If you change poundage by moving the limb bolts these measurement will be different. They are guide lines. As long as your DW maxes out right & DL right, go with it.
I think you lack PEOPLE SKILLS, Smash. I did to in my younger days.
I'm not a big believer in paper tuning. I can get any kind of tear just by adding torque to the bow. Try bare shaft tuning. I think this shows more of what the bow is doing.
I shoot phatheads. I have killed deer out to 36 yards with my GT500.
Nicko, your pulse should make 280's. My gt500 at 28" 53lbs with a 340 gr arrow gets 283fps.
Are you stopping the draw as soon as the stops hit & not over drawing the bow.
OK. You may be able to tune a little more valley in it . 220's are hard to find, been looking for 220's or 135's for a while. I have mine turned out 2 full turns to get the 53lbs with 123 def.
Nicko, you can try mine when you can shoot again. 53lbs & 28"DL. Could meet you at FCO if you want.
I would think 220 or 210. 135 max out around 57lbs . Someone that shoots at the club has 135 def at 57lbs.
I shoot fat heads for BH's. 100gr . CX200's from my GT at 28" DL & 53lbs. I don't understand it but they were perfect yesterday without the bent rod.
.
I took off the bent rod & fp., bh. & bare shafts all hit together. I'm leaving the bent rod off. I find this really strange also.
I never done this before. I always shot my BH's & adjusted so they flew with my FP's. Today I had a bare shaft with me at the range so I tried it. It hit 27"left. If everything is shooting well, what...
I like 4 finger releases. I just like that there is a place for all my fingers. It helps with consistency for me.
Remmy, I shoot my GT at 53 lbs. & it works great. I get over 280 with my 340 gr. arrows. If I throw some 274 gr arrows, it's over 300.
Good job & congratulation on the win .
So you have me thinking, I didn't measure the DL before I changed the string & cables, that it was a little long. I may be worried about nothing. The bow shot great as I did win the first local 3-d I...
How have you been OMA? Long time since I've talked to you. Where were you shooting?
