Here is mine on my Fire.
The pictures are actually deceiving...you get bounce back from the flash that makes it look more reflective than it is. It is actually a nice matte finish. :photos:

Here are some updated pics. The hood, thankfully, is a nice matte (non-reflective) finish. Grippers hold shafts well. Removes with just a quarter twist. Good first impression. My only concern...

Finally...now that makes sense! I was addressing the consumer's point of view. I am not a dealer, nor do I intend to represent the dealers' opinions. The folks that have complained/whinned in this...
And, that is an example that makes sense...what that has to do with the 2009 bows I have no idea.
Shoot it and hunt with it...really don't understand what has happened that would cause a change. :confused:
